Howie Waterman is the founder and president of The Waterman Group, a full-service public relations agency specializing in the development and execution of strategic communications plans and media relations campaigns, executive counsel, crisis communications/issues management, and media training. He wakes up every day passionately determined to win the media news cycle and find ways to protect and enhance the brand of his clients by creating impactful thought leadership campaigns.
Howie has deep and diverse experience with a world-class communications organization and one of the top technology brands, Verizon, a Fortune 15 company, where he earned several communications leadership roles at the regional, national and global levels.
The Waterman Group's most recent work includes the planning and execution of an announcement of a SPAC merger for a client providing groundbreaking, disruptive hardware and software for 5G network solutions. Waterman is also serving as the US communications lead for a Europe-based engineering and consulting firm with over 4,500 employees specializing in the auto, aerospace, energy and telecom industries.
Before entering the telecom sector, Howie started his career as a radio journalist in New York City at all-news 1010 WINS radio, and also worked for the Associated Press.
